Structural Drawings
Our structural drawings provide clear plans showing how the main structural elements of the project are to be constructed. Depending on the scope of the works, these may include foundations of various types, ground and upper floors, load-bearing walls, beams, lintels, columns etc.
Where required, we also provide detailed drawings for steel to steel connections, timber and reinforced concrete elements, including reinforcement details and BBS.
All structural assessments, calculations and drawings are prepared by qualified and experienced structural engineers.
We ensure that all our designs adhere to the Current Building Regulations. We provide prompt and efficient service, as well as professional consultation with a senior engineer.
Our structural design packages include site inspections, assessments of load-bearing structures, structural calculations and detailed drawings. We also provide ongoing support, working closely with the client, architect, builder and party wall surveyor to answer questions and help the project progress smoothly.
Structural calculations
Our structural calculations are prepared in accordance with the relevant Eurocode design standards and cover all structural elements required for the project.
Depending on the proposed works, this may include the design of steel beams, columns, frames and connections; reinforced concrete beams, slabs and lintels; timber joists, rafters and trimmers; and masonry walls and piers.
We also design a range of foundation solutions, including strip, pad, raft, eccentric and deeper foundations, together with retaining structures, portal frames and wind posts where required.
